In all other respects, this post is for informational purposes only and no payment or commission is received on click-throughs to links shared.
The tute for Meadow Dance pillow front is available today here on the Benartex Sew in Love {with Fabric} blog.
Tips + Tutes
Additional tutes and tips to help you make the project are all available here on my blog, click on the images to access them.
I love Amanda Murphy's fabric lines - I've shared projects made from two earlier lines with you previously. Remember these? You can click on the images to see the original posts/tutes.
So, when Benartex asked me if I'd like to take part in the Meadow Dance Blog Hop to showcase Amanda's latest fabric collection, my answer was "Yes, please"!
Meadow Dance by Amanda Murphy has 28 fabrics and a learning panel designed for long arm quilting too. With focal prints and smaller florals and textures in plum, turquoise, green, grey, white, red, aqua, orange, coral and yellow ... my own favourite is the crochet lace, absolutely stunning ... and they're all 100% cotton.
I chose 11 fabrics to play work with 😉, limiting my colour palette to mainly aqua, grey, red and green then including the white on white floral blender to give the eye somewhere to rest.
Excitedly, I designed a fabric runner but then Hurricane Irma headed our way and we had to evacuate from our south Florida home. Change of plan - in order to have everything ready in time for the blog hop I've switched to making a Meadow Dance cushion. It's a quick make and I already have the pillow back tute available on my blog so that's what I'm sharing today.
However, I couldn't miss out on making that fabric runner - I have a sideboard in my studio that's crying out for it so I've made that too.
The tute's not quite finalised so I'll be sharing it here on my blog early next week - follow me so you don't miss it.

AND THE WINNER IS!!!
The winner of the Meadow Dance FQ bundle by Amanda Murphy for Benartex is comment #9 by Rochelle aka Bella Quilts.
Rochelle couldn't pick one fave flower as she has so many, and wouldn't her choices make any garden look beautiful?!
Thanks to Rochelle and everyone who asked after my Florida home after my evacuation due to Hurricane Irma. There was no damage to the house, though things weren't so good in the garden. Most of the trees are down - palms, mango, papaya, lychee and more. It's sad to see but things could have been very much worse and we are thankful that no-one was hurt.
Many congratulations Rochelle, I've sent you an email asking for your snail mail address so be sure to check your junk folder if it isn't in your inbox. :D
