Voting Has Closed - The Something NEW Sampler: Winners


Voting for the Something NEW Sampler has closed and my first try at a QAYG quilt came in a very respectable second.


I'm thrilled with my prize donated by Cotton Blossom Farm - 10 x 1/2 yards chosen from the Simply Color Collection by Vanessa Christenson of V and Co for Moda.  I've had a great morning looking over the fabrics and finally choosing 4 graphite grey, 4 lime green and 2 spicy hot pink designs and now I'm thinking through what to make with them.  I want to say a very big thank you to Cathy at Cotton Blossom Farm and please do check out the web store, they've got some great fabrics to choose from.

      Thanks Lisa, I don't know what to make with the fabric yet, I'm waiting for it to arrive and maybe I'll have a better idea when I actually see it, I've already had an email from Cotton Blossom Farm saying it's in the mail :)

      Be careful what you wish for Gertie, it might just happen to you - what was that I said about loving the second prize!!! 10 x 1/2 yards, my that's quite a bit of fabric isn't it? Looking forward to it arriving and contemplating how to use it :)

      Thanks Sonia, I'm thrilled with the prize, it's well worth having isn't it?! And Cotton Blossom Farm have been lovely and so quick to contact me and then post my fabric choices out to me, it's really smashing :)

      You are too lovely young Erin and you're so right about that fabric, it was my favourite prize from the competition so I was quite happy with second place for that reason alone!!! :)
