Voting has now opened for the Something NEW Sampler Link-Up. You can view all the final quilts here at the cute life and place one vote for your favourite quilt finish (be sure to click on the vote link above the photo as it's very easy to vote for the wrong quilt). Voting closes on Friday, 22 March and the winner will be announced on Saturday, 23 March.
I've entered my QAYG Something NEW Sampler Quilt into the final link-up selection and there's lots of other great quilt finishes there too.
Don't forget voting closes on Friday, 22 March so be sure to hop over and place your vote before then :)

Lovely quilt, well done. I shall head over and have a look at the other quilts.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue, there's some great layouts by those who've created a traditional quilt top. I went for a simple grid as I was creating my first QAYG :)
DeleteChrissie--Your quilt is absolutely fabulous. I'm going over to vote right now.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I had two that I wanted to vote for (you're not allowed to vote for yourself) but had to choose just one which was a shame. It's the first time I've been involved in a voting link-up so that's an interesting one to watch progress! :)
DeleteYour quilt turned out beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy, it was a fun make :)
DeleteVoted for your lovely quilt Chrissy! x
ReplyDeleteThanks Gertie, fingers crossed - although I've got my eye on the 2nd prize over the 1st if I'm honest! Is that a bit crazy to want to come 2nd?!!! :)
DeleteJust reread my comment and thought how presumptive it sounds, pretty awful actually! I was meaning to pass comment on the prizes but realise now that it sounds more like I'm commenting on my chances of winning - quite dreadful and not at all like me if you know me :(
DeleteInspired quilt! Love that you used the QAYG technique. Well done! Going to vote now...
ReplyDeleteYour comments always mean so much to me Christine and, whatever way you voted, a big thank-you :)
DeleteWell, since Orange is my favorite color, of course I happily voted for your gorgeous quilt! There are a lot of nice entries...very modern and fun! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThat's so kind, everyone's been very kind with their comments and votes :)
DeleteVery pretty! I usually don't go for samplers, but this quilt is interesting and lovely to look at.
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen, I joined in with the blog hop because the blocks were each quite interesting and a bit different to the usual sampler block. Results are in now and I came second which isn't too shabby! :)
DeleteWow, this is great. I have been wanting to do a sampler, and this gives me some fabulous ideas on how to make it more modern looking.

(p.s. There's a giveaway in progress on my blog right now, in case you're interested!)
Hi Carly, I've been away and not checking my blog so I've only just seen your message about your giveaway but I've popped over and left you a follower comment. I enjoyed doing this quilt a lot the techniques are really modern and that bit different so it was fun. Results are in and I came second so that's pretty nice too :)
