Ever wondered where to shop for fabric, wool, trims and notions on your trip to Manhattan, NYC?
Lots of you contact me asking for advice and I love to help so I've put together a page on my blog just for this - not a huge list, simply my favourites. You can find it in my header tabs or you can click through to the page here
I hope you find it useful, let me know and let me know also if there's any other sections you'd like to see added to the page.
If you drop into The City Quilter be sure to ask for me and say "hi"!!!
I wanted to thank you for being a new follower of mine. I look forward to getting to see more of you and your work. I wish you the happiest of New Years. I hope 2014 is full of magic and creativity for you. :) Take care.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michal and to you and yours too :D
DeleteGreat idea Chrissie. Hopefully one day I will need this information :)
ReplyDeleteIf you do ever visit Fiona then we have to have a fabric and coffee get together!!! :D
DeleteB&J fabric has a wide selection of quilting fabric and lots of liberty fabric. It's on 7th Ave between 38th and 39th
ReplyDeleteVery nice! On our last visit, I was determined to go to mood and walked up and down the general area a few times, confused as hell. Nice of you to add such specific instructions, help us tourists look less like tourists. :)
ReplyDeleteHa, Mood's a tricky one to find isn't it? - tourists wandering up and down the street looking bemused and locals knowingly saying to them "Are you looking for Mood?", I just had to give instructions for that one!!! :D
DeleteI've never been to New York but would love to visit there sometime! Thanks for the list for when I do make it up there! Thanks for linking up this week at Sewlicious Home Decor!:)
