First Post To The NYC Metro MOD Quilt Guild Blog

Our guild website
I've just done my first post to my Quilt Guild blog.

It might only have been 2 photos of my blocks but it felt WOW to me and another step taken in this new world I'm entering!

I'm thinking the next time I post it won't seem like such a big deal? :)

  1. I love that Children of Israel block! What size did you make it? And could you tell me the sizes of the pieces? I don't need a pattern if I just know the sizes....would love to make that one! blessings, marlene

    1. Marlene, it's a 12" finished block. The measurements are a bit detailed so it's easier if I point you at the instructions http://www.patternsfromhistory.com/bible_quilt/bible_children.htm.

There is an 8" block option and here's the link for that also http://www.patternsfromhistory.com/bible_quilt/8inchblock.htm.

Glad you like it, I do too - if you do make it you'll have to let me have a look at it :)

  2. You deserve to feel like "WOW"--how fun is that to have your blocks posted there! Can't wait to see your surprise projects. :O)

    1. It's driving me mad Carol, not being able to share them and when I can it will all be 'after the fact' and that buzz you get when you're making the quilt and don't know where it will take you will have gone. It's such a shame as I'm so very, very excited about them both :(
