  1. love the coffins, I am doing some too for a purse but had called them stretched hexi's. Interesting names you have!!

    1. Your purse is just great and I love the larger 'stretched hexies' you've used, mine are very small. I can't take credit for the name - it's what they're called on the packet, don't know about you, but I find the shape a bit more interesting than the standard diamond and hexie templates :D

  2. I sure enjoyed re-reading through your Selvedge Block and QAYG Quilting post. This is what I would call a modern sampler quilt, for sure! Love the amazing number of experiments you experienced in the making of this quilt, Chrissie!

    1. This is such a useful quilt, these days I use it as a sampler for my fmq teaching and it's turned out such a great piece for showing off so many techniques :D

  5. Thanks for the links back to your older posts. I had to laugh as I can so relate to your thoughts on free motion quilting. I was in class the other night and the instructor came over and told me I needed to breathe! Hopefully relaxation will come with time.
