Cotton Cuts - Mystery Raffle Quilt Reveal

Cotton Cuts - Mystery Raffle Quilt Reveal by www.madebyChrissieD.com

Have you seen it yet?
The Cotton Cuts Fall 2017 Mystery Raffle Quilt, that I made and signed blocks for in December (read more here), is finished.

Kim from Cotton Cuts unveiled the finished quilt live on Facebook last week, with the help of comic genius Lincoln.  You can watch the video below (this may not be visible if you are viewing on a phone).

It brought tears to my eyes, I loved getting a peak at the Valley Industries workspace where Cotton Cuts fabrics are cut and packed.

You'll remember for this mystery quilt, Cotton Cuts partnered with nine incredible quilting bloggers to help raise money for Valley Industries, a non-profit sheltered workshop that provides dignified employment opportunities to the intellectually challenged and to those with other disabilities.

Each of the nine participating bloggers signed a white section of one of the blocks we made to become part of the raffle prize quilt.  Here are my blocks.

Cotton Cuts sewed the completed sections together and created this beautiful finished 48" x 60" quilt, perfect for your home!  Oooh, and now I can see that I sewed the centre block and I've spotted my signature block in the top right corner of the pic below.

You can have a chance to win the finished, autographed quilt too by purchasing raffle tickets AND all the money raised will be donated to Valley Industries.

The raffle is running now through to 15 May 2018.  Tickets are $5.00 each, click the button below for raffle details, more info and to enter.  For full transparency I'm owning up here to having bought two tickets myself: firstly, because it's such a great cause; and secondly, because it's such a great quilt.
