"I Love Doing Dishes" Said No One Ever!

"I love doing dishes" said no one ever but I love, love, love the dish towels I made back in February and judging by the number of you who've checked out my tute - over 8,000 of you in the first month!!! - you all love them too.

I love them so much I decided I had to make more to take to England with me as gifts for everyone so that's exactly what I did, of course when I get home I'll pass them off by their English name, tea towels!!!

My Super Easy & Fast Dish Towel Tute is available here.

Have you made yours yet?

  1. The colors are so nice and what a lovely practical gift. I keep thinking how nice they would also be wrapped around a small bouquet of flowers (they way some florists wrap paper around a loose bundle of flowers). Thank You for sharing!

  3. Wow ChrissieD they are beautiful! I noticed some of this fabric at Rock Paper Scissors the other day, and I thought, I wonder what people are using that for?! Duh, only the obvious!!! I think your idea of a beach bag is great! I am going to ponder that and come up with something I can use, but in the meantime, I'm making some tea towels! (that's what we call them in my house!) Thanx for the tute!

    1. I guess several fabric companies make the fabric but the ones I've used in my blog posts are by Moda and available from most Moda dealers and at various online fabric stores across America. I know a readers in other countries, especially the UK, have had more difficulty finding the fabrics - if you do have trouble finding it Lisa I'd suggest finding your local Moda supplier and asking if they're willing to order it in - Chris :D
