Textile Art Update

I know there's quite a number of you that are interested in my Textile Art pieces so I've updated my blog's TEXTILE ART page with a few more mixed media pieces that I've created previously.

Here's a sample of some of my work and you can see more here

    1. Thanks Rachel, I still haven't unpacked all my equipment and materials since the move - quilting took over and I just never got around to it. Every time I post pictures of my textile art work it makes me think I should get everything out again but then I make another quilt instead! :)

    1. Thanks Fiona, it's fun to do. I'm a very precise, methodical, structured person and this type of artwork took me away from that - I find quilting has drawn me back into my old ways though, all that measuring and precision :)

    1. Thanks Christine, when I lived in England there were lots of courses available doing this sort of Textile Art, it's very popular. I've not found anything quite the same here in America and when I have come across it a lot of the artists crafting in that way have studied it long distance on the English City and Guilds courses.
